Pollo Campero has a long and successful history tracing its roots to Guatemala by opening its first store in 1971. Today Pollo Campero operates over 200 restaurants throughout Latin America, the U.S., Europe and Asia. The first restaurant in the U.S. opened in Los Angeles, April 2002 and Guests waited in line for up to seven hours. Since 2002, Pollo Campero has successfully opened in Los Angeles, Houston, Washington D.C., New York, Dallas, Chicago and San Antonio.
Founded in Central America 35 years ago, the popularity of Pollo Campero’s tender, juicy and crunchy chicken fueled the chain’s growth to over 200 locations internationally, including 27 U.S. locations in major metropolitan areas.
In 2002, ADIR Restaurants Corp–the master franchisee of Pollo Campero in six western states– opened the first store in the US located in downtown Los Angeles. Guests waited patiently in line for up to seven hours to experience the tender, juicy and crunchy chicken that has made Pollo Campero legendary.
Since then, ADIR Restaurants Corp has opened 15 company-owned Pollo Campero restaurants in the greater Los Angeles area. In 2006, ADIR Restaurants Corp first franchisee joined the phenomenon, and it continues to grow. |
