On May 29th Vernon Elementary School held Family Literacy Night. We provided food for 125 people.

Gage Middle School held Family Literacy Night on May 15th. Over 100 parents and students attended the event. At this event, parents learn new ways to help their children improve in school. We provided food for 100 people.

On May 10th, Gotas de Luz held their final fundraiser prior to leaving to Vienna. Gotas de Luz is a group made out of five brothers who are from Guatemala. We donated food for 75 people.

On May 9th, Carver Middle School celebrated Family Literacy Night. At this event, parents learn new ways to help their children with their homework. They also learn about new programs that are available for their children. We provided them with food for 100 people.

On May 8th, The PTA and Parent Center of South Gate Middle School hosted a celebration for "Mexican Mother's Day" for the parents of their students. We contributed food for 100 mothers.

On May 2nd, Micheltorena Street School celebrated their annual Cinco de Mayo Carnival and Fundraiser. Micheltorena Street School is maoint the top most improved schools in LAUSD. We provided food for 100 students.
