Aug 5 2008 >> National Night Out - LAPD's Rampart Division

In 1984, the National Association of Town Watch introduced the idea of National Night Out to promote police-community partnerships, crime prevention, and neighborhood camaraderie. National Night out was celebrated on August 5th at LAPD's Rampart Division. There were two community walks which ended at Rampart Station. We supported the event by providing food for 100 people.
