On April 25th, Berendo Middle School hosted Teacher's Appreciation Day. The event was organized by the families in collaboration with the community and businesses to recognize the tremendous dedication set forth by all the teachers. We provided food for 100 teachers.

On April 24th, Holmes Avenue Elementary School hosted Family Literacy Night. We provided fod for 100 people. At this event parents attend to learn new ways to help their children with their homework.

Apr 22 2008 >> El Salvador's National Soccer Team

|
On April 22nd, we sponsored El Salvador's National Soccer Team press conference reception. We provided food for the team. The team was in town to play against the Chinese National Soccer team for an international friendly match at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.

Apr 19 2008 >> Woodcraft Ranger's Youth Retreat

On April 19th, we sponsored the Woodcraft Ranger's Youth Retreat. At this retreat children from elementary and middle schools were able to participate in academic activities. We provided food for 125 people.

Apr 6 2008 >> St. Raphael's Church Confirmation Retreat
|
|
On April 6th, the confirmation class from St. Raphael's Church celebrated the culmination to their preparation retreat. The students participated in a three day retreat. We provided food for 100 people.

Apr 3 2008 >> Family Literacy Night at Sharp Elementary School

|
Woodcraft Rangers Family Literacy Nights travel through out Los Angeles County. During these nights, parents, teachers and students come together to learn about activities that can be taught to the children at home. On April 3rd, we sponsored Family Literacy Night at Sharp Elementary School at 4:30 PM with food for 100 people.

Woodcraft Rangers hosted High School and College Preparation Assemblies at several middle schools throughout the city. We provided food for each of the assemblies listed below: April 1 Elizabeth Learning Center and Nimitz Middle School April 2 Columbus and Gompers Middle School April 3 Leicthy Middle School
